Warrington PCI Management
The Results: The Process:
Viscor worked directly with Quantum Lighting Inc. to develop a solution that met their objective. Quantum conducted a site study to better understand the site needs, current lighting challenges and potential lighting improvements including possible energy savings. The focus was placed on the varying occupancy at any given time of the day or night and a clear understanding of the project's specifications with an emphasis on energy efficiency.
Our Solution:
Viscor designed a custom luminaire to Quantum's exact specifications, replacing the antiquated T8 strip fixture. Since a portion of the parkade had high ceilings, the fixture had to perform at up to a 20ft. mounting height with no coverage issues. Visioneering's LCOM commercial-grade LED strip luminaire was engineered with an integrated Microwave Occupancy Sensor to meet ASHRAE 9.4.1.2 Parking Garage Lighting Control Standards. The sensors were mounted behind the lens enabling the luminaires to be programmed individually or in zones creating a safe environment with improved visual appeal and reduce energy consumption.
The Challenge:
To deliver a modern lighting solution for Warrington PCI Management parkade on Level 1 that meets ASHRAE 90.1 lighting and control requirements necessary by the City of Vancouver. Secondly, to provide the parkade with necessary lighting that ensures a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all occupants along with enhancing the security cameras ability to monitor and protect the complete area with a high level of energy savings.
